Mauser Packaging Solutions has expanded its Haiyan, China, facility to include the manufacturing of Intermediate Bulk Containers (IBCs). This investment responds to the rising demand for IBCs in the region – and supports the company’s commitment to sustainability and innovation.

The new production line creates UN-certified IBCs suitable for chemical, food, and additive industries. It also enhances the company’s Infinity Series IBC portfolio, which incorporates Recolene, an in-house-produced recycled plastic derived from industrial packaging collected through Mauser’s Recover Syst-M. This initiative reduces waste, conserves raw materials, and lowers greenhouse gas emissions.

“This investment reinforces our commitment to supporting the Chinese market and multinational customers,” said Ali Ozbudak, Vice President, Head of Asia Pacific. “It’s about meeting demand while driving sustainability and innovation.”

In addition to IBCs, the Haiyan facility produces various plastic drums and has earned certifications like ISO 9001, 14001, HACCP, and FSSC 22000. A 10K-grade clean room ensures the facility meets stringent requirements for industries handling high-purity products.
