Brückner Maschinenbau, the specialists in film stretching lines, has awarded Coperion a volume contract for its ZSK Mc18 twin screw extruders. The agreement continues a partnership that has been in place since 2008, reflecting more than 15 years of close cooperation between the two companies.

Coperion’s extruders were first used by Brückner in BOPP film lines. Since then, the collaboration has expanded to include a wider range of film types, including BOPET, BSF, and BOPA. The latest contract underlines Brückner’s confidence in Coperion’s extrusion technology, which provides the high torque and throughput needed for large-scale film production while ensuring low melt temperatures and consistent product quality.

Cornelia Koch, Business Segment Manager Direct Extrusion at Coperion, emphasized the importance of the relationship, noting that the companies’ joint expertise has led to innovative solutions that have improved throughput, efficiency, and film quality across Brückner’s product lines.

For its plastic film stretching lines Brückner Maschinenbau relies on Coperion ZSK extruders, which melt the raw material.
