08.02.2016 Fully automatic truck loading of bags

Haver & Boecker, Machinery Division, Oelde, Germany, has recently introduced the HAVER SpeedRoad, a compact, fully automatic system for loading filled bags directly on to trucks. A further development of the SpeedFlexx system launched by the company in 2012, it is already proving popular with customers in Asia and Africa.

The SpeedRoad assembles the bags that come from the conveyor belt of the packing machine to form a stacking pattern inside the machine and puts them down onto the truck in layers. It thereby ensures a perfect layer pattern. Once the truck has been loaded, the packing machine moves into waiting position until the next truck arrives unless there is a second loading system assigned to the packing machine. 3000 bags per hour can be loaded on to trucks in stable stacks. The machine is suitable for different types of trucks and bags, and provides for selectable loading patterns. It is also possible to load pre-positioned empty pallets on to the truck. It employs an electromechanical system – without hydraulics and pneumatics. www.haveboecker.com
