Coperion, Weingarten, Germany, has introduced the newly developed GAMMA-BEND NT deflector elbow, the special geometry of which is designed to reduce creation of dust and formation of angel-hair when plastic pellets are conveyed pneumatically. The conveyed product only comes into brief contact with the elbow wall thereby minimising damage caused by sliding abrasion. This innovation will be exhibited on the joint Coperion/Coperion K-Tron stand (B19, Hall 14) at K-2016. Other new equipment on show will include the optimised ZV rotary valve as well as the fully automated ITL 250 FFS bagging system. www.coperion.com
