Mauser-Werke, Bruehl, Germany, reports that its Gliwice-located subsidiary Mauser Poland, which serves customers with an extensive product range of composite intermediate bulk containers and plastic tight-head drums, has undergone continued business expansion since its opening in 2012. In line with Mauser’s global quality standards, the plant’s portfolio includes transport packaging for dangerous goods UN-certified by the German Federal Institute for Materials Research and Testing (BAM). The favourable location of the factory enables Mauser to supply its products to various countries in Central and Eastern Europe at reasonable transport distances. “We have a very skilled local team on site which drives commercial and operational excellence resulting in successive year-on-year growth,” explained Dr Jürgen Scherer, head of the Mauser SBU Europe.
