The Daxner Group, of Wels, Austria, has appointed Uwe Hofmeier to take over the management of the Daxner Germany site in Lauda-Königshofen with immediate effect. He succeeds  Hans-Jürgen Sussann, who will retire in 2024.

The new Managing Director began his career in 1989 at Dietrich Reimelt KG and later worked as deputy managing director at a major gasket manufacturer. In 2007, he took over the position of Managing Director of Umfotec GmbH and successfully shaped the company for eight years. Most recently, he worked as a sales engineer at Zeppelin Systems before taking up his new challenge at Daxner Germany GmbH.
