19.02.2024 “Pay-per-hour” model for neo mixing mills

Mixtures can now be processed on mixing mills on a pay-per-hour basis at Daguma’s machine manufacturing factory in Geisa, Germany. The new Deguma neo basic mixing mills are available for simpler mixtures and the Deguma neo premium for more demanding recipes.

Many companies are unable to fulfil large orders at short notice because their production capacities are already exhausted. In addition, it is not worthwhile to invest in a new mixing mill for one-off orders. For such cases, Deguma has created the pay-per-hour model.

“We now rent our neo basic and neo premium mixing mills to processing companies on an hourly basis. This makes many companies more flexible because they have more production capacity without having to invest in an additional mixing mill,” says Daniela Dingfelder, Chief Operating Officer. In addition, companies can use the hourly rental model to cover bottlenecks. “We also see the concept as a good opportunity for interested parties to try out our mixing mills and see for themselves how well they perform,” adds Dingfelder.

Deguma neo premium mixing mills combine several mixing mills in one, as the friction is infinitely adjustable. They can be set up at ground level at a safe working height (without a pit or platform) to save space. Hydraulic roller gap adjustment with automatic emergency opening ensures operator safety. Safety-critical functions such as braking angle and emergency gap opening time are continuously monitored. Pneumatically removable stock guides are mounted on the side of the roller stand for easy maintenance and cleaning of the machine.
