Precise recipe formulation directly from bulk bags and IBCs
Nol-Tec Europe, Gorgonzola (MI), Italy, has introduced Wonderbatch™, a revolutionary concept of inline formulation that offers a totally integrated system for powder receival and batching. It is designed for light-duty applications in industries such as confectionery, health foods, spices, tea, coffee and cocoa. The system allows for the provision of a wide range of recipes without risk of product contamination, while at the same time making maximum use of available space and production capacity. Trials carried out at the company’s test plant and at the SIAD Research Centre showed a time saving of 40% compared to traditional systems.
Further advantages include: dosing directly from bulk bags and rigid IBCs; automatic monitoring during the whole process; no contamination; traceability; and short cleaning times. Wonderbatch, which will be featured at POWTECH in Hall 4A, Stand 550, works in association with Nol-Tec’s dense phase pneumatic conveying technology and its unique dosing control system which has been developed in-house. www.nol-teceurope.com
