Combined sieve/magnetic separation system meets HACCP hygiene standards
J-Tec Material Handling, Kapellen, Belgium, which is an EHEDG member, has designed a combined sieve and magnetic system in accordance with latest hygienic standards which can be integrated into positive pressure or negative pressure pneumatic conveying lines. Suitable for use in the food industry as well as for certain chemical processes, it can be applied to monitor the flow of semi-finished products, whether inbound or outbound. It is capable of safeguarding against:
- Bacteriological contamination
- Contamination between different products
- Contamination as a result of foreign objects.
The stainless steel screen gauze, used in the sieve, is designed in such a way that in case of breakage no particles will find their way into the product flow. A pneumatically controlled pivoting lift mechanism makes it possible to remove the lid of the sieve automatically.
