31.03.2014 Wireless options for weight and level measurement

Venture Measurement, Spartanburg, SC, part of Danaher Corporation, has introduced wireless technology to its Kistler-Morse® and Bindicator® brands, allowing users to eliminate hard wiring between units. This provides significant cost savings during installation and maintenance of equipment.

InvisiLink wireless radios communicate via RS-485 or RS-422, making them compatible with Kistler-Morse controllers, Bindicator Yo-Yo continuous level sensors and Bindicator 3D Level Scanners as well as both K-M and Bindicator ORB remote inventory management systems.  Additional compatibility with 4-20mA analogue devices can be achieved when used in conjunction with the 4-20mA converters available for both product brands. InvisiLink wireless radios have a standard transmission range of 914m and an antenna option is available for longer distances. Other features include a NEMA 4 enclosure and LED indicator lights that designate communication and strength of signal. www.kistlermorse.com; www.bindicator.com
