Concetti, Bastia Umbra, Italy, has introduced the Forza 2600 form-fill-seal bagging system which has been designed to combine speed with reliability. Specifically conceived for the petrochemical industry, the new FFS Forza can achieve a filling rate of 2600 x 25kg bags per hour with a single bagging spout. Other key advantages include reduced air consumption and operating noise combined with simple operation and ease of maintenance.

A wide range of special features include: bag corners sealing (“K” sealing) to improve the bags’ shape, enhance pallet security and aesthetics as well as to help ensure total emptying of the bag; an electric reel lifting device to load the reel without need for other lifting equipment; and a gussets forming system that allows use of a flat (i.e. ungusseted) reel of tubular film while achieving production of square, gusseted bags. A flat reel provides for up to three times as many bags compared to a gusseted film reel, so savings in reel change downtime and storage costs are significant.
