KOMPOZYT-EXPO® is the largest trade fair in Poland devoted entirely to the composite materials and technology sector. It is at the same time the most important industry event in Central and Eastern Europe.

International Trade Fair for Powder & Bulk Solids Technologies SYMAS® is one of the most important industrial trade fairs in Poland, where exhibitors comprehensively present technologies related to the processing, handling, transporting, storing, sorting, filtering, separating, grinding and packaging of powder and bulk materials.

Solids Antwerp is celebrating its 15th edition this year. For 15 editions now, this leading event has been bringing together professionals from the bulk industry to discuss innovation, expertise and valuable networking opportunities. It is a special occasion to look back on a strong track record and look ahead to the future of the sector.

This intensive course was originally prepared at the request of the Department of Trade and Industry and first held in 1981. Since then hundreds of engineers from industry have attended. The course is regularly updated to reflect changes in industrial practice and new developments in pneumatic conveying technology. During the course we'll cover subjects including system components, design techniques, operation and control of blow tank systems, explosion hazards and operational problems. The course also deals with the important but often neglected area of interfacing storage bins with conveying systems.

There is a tradition of different companies using different design equations and assumptions. There has in recent years been a lot of new information generated using improved methods for measurement of material conveying properties, the use of these for design and the effects of design details such as bends and stepped bore sizes. The ultimate aim will be to share the most up-to-date knowledge on how to obtain pipeline designs that work reliably, delivering the required throughput without unplanned maintenance and undesired impact on quality of the powder being handled.
