WITTMANN strengthens northern Germany plastics systems support

WITTMANN BATTENFELD Deutschland has introduced a new sales structure in northern Germany as the company responds to growing demand for integrated plastics processing and material handling systems.

The move establishes two dedicated points of contact for customers in the region, enabling the company to provide faster support and more specialised expertise for material supply and automation projects.

Jörg Schröer, who has worked as a sales partner for the WITTMANN Group for more than 20 years, will take overall responsibility for material handling projects across northern Germany. Meanwhile, Gunnar Dieckhoff has transferred from the company's standardisation department to its material handling division, where he will oversee project planning for material handling systems.

According to Alexander Paech, sales manager for automation and auxiliaries at WITTMANN BATTENFELD Deutschland, the appointments will allow the company to respond more quickly to customer requirements while strengthening support for increasingly complex system projects.

The reorganisation also reflects WITTMANN's strategy of providing complete production solutions from a single source. The company's facilities in Nuremberg and Meinerzhagen, which have traditionally focused on different business areas, will now showcase the group's full product portfolio.

Customers visiting either site will have access to technologies including material handling systems, injection moulding machines, automation equipment, mould temperature control, in-line recycling solutions and digital manufacturing technologies.

The company's technical centres will continue to support customers with material and mould testing, application development projects and process-specific consulting services.
