WAMGROUP launches RECOFIL™ to automate industrial dust recovery

WAMGROUP has introduced RECOFIL™, a pneumatic dust recovery system designed to automate the removal and transfer of dust collected by industrial filtration systems.
While effective dust filtration is essential in many industrial processes, the handling of recovered material after filtration often remains a manual and labour-intensive task.
Emptying filter hoppers, changing collection bins and disposing of dust can create downtime, increase housekeeping requirements and expose operators to potentially harmful airborne particles.
RECOFIL™ addresses these challenges by automatically removing dust from filter hoppers and pneumatically conveying it to a designated storage or collection point. Installed beneath the hopper, the compact system eliminates the need for conventional mechanical conveying equipment and can, in many applications, utilise the compressed air already available for filter cleaning. This helps to keep energy consumption low while simplifying integration into existing dust extraction systems.
By transforming hopper discharge into a closed, automated process, RECOFIL™ supports continuous plant operation and reduces the interruptions associated with manual dust handling.
The system is particularly suited to industries such as metalworking, welding, sheet metal cutting, sandblasting and shot blasting, where large volumes of dry dust are generated.
For facilities operating multiple filtration units, RECOFIL™ can be integrated into a wider dust recovery network. Recovered material can be transferred to central collection points, silos or FIBC filling stations to streamline disposal and waste management processes
When paired with WAMGROUP’s EASYFILL™ FIBC filling system, RECOFIL™ forms a complete dust recovery solution.
EASYFILL™ can receive dust from up to four RECOFIL™ units and transfer it directly into bulk bags while minimising dust emissions.
The system features semi-automatic bag replacement and an air jet-cleaned cartridge filter to help protect operators and maintain a clean working environment.
