Bronkhorst, a specialist in low-flow measurement and control technology, has introduced the new CORI-FLOW™ MN-Series, the fourth generation of its Coriolis mass flowmeters and controllers for liquids and gases.
Designed for industries where accuracy, consistency and traceability are critical, including food & beverage manufacturing and pharmaceutical production, the new series combines the proven advantages of direct mass flow measurement with an extended flow range, advanced electronics and enhanced connectivity for seamless integration into modern automated processes.
Using the Coriolis measuring principle, the CORI-FLOW MN-Series directly measures mass flow independent of fluid properties such as density, temperature or viscosity.
This ensures highly accurate, repeatable and reliable measurement and control of ingredients, additives, active pharmaceutical ingredients (APIs) and process fluids, helping manufacturers maintain product quality while reducing waste.
For food and beverage producers, precise dosing and batching capabilities support consistent product formulations, improved yield and tighter process control. In pharmaceutical and biotechnology applications, the flowmeter's accuracy and repeatability can contribute to stricter quality assurance, regulatory compliance and enhanced batch traceability.
Integrated PID controller functionality enables compact, high-performance solutions for dosing, filling, blending and process control applications, reducing system complexity while improving operational efficiency.
The new MN-Series also offers a wider operating range, supporting applications up to 2,000 kg/h. Together with its compact footprint and modular platform architecture, this allows manufacturers, machine builders and system integrators to standardise on a single flow measurement platform across multiple production lines and process stages.
A key advancement is Bronkhorst's latest electronics platform, which provides expanded diagnostics, monitoring capabilities and NAMUR status indication to support predictive maintenance and minimise unplanned downtime. Simplified commissioning, combined with USB-C and Bluetooth connectivity, enables faster setup, configuration and servicing.
Support for Industrial Ethernet and other fieldbus technologies ensures straightforward integration into digital manufacturing environments, helping food, beverage and pharmaceutical facilities advance their automation and Industry 4.0 initiatives.
The CORI-FLOW MN-Series is ideally suited to applications such as ingredient dosing, flavour and additive injection, pharmaceutical formulation, biotechnology processes, pilot plants, laboratory systems and preparative chromatography, delivering the precision, reliability and connectivity required in today's highly regulated production environments.
