Rotary Batch Mixer delivers fast, uniform blending of abrasive bulk materials

The new GB-35-ARL Rotary Batch Mixer is designed for blending glass mix/cullet, sand, ceramics, refractories, aggregates and other dry bulk abrasive materials.
It achieves a highly uniform mix in just one to three minutes, handling batch sizes from 5 to 35 cubic feet (0.14 to 1m³), regardless of particle size, shape, bulk density or ingredient ratio.
The mixer drum is supported at each end by trunnion rings, eliminating the need for internal shafts, bearings and seals, thereby reducing maintenance requirements.
As the drum rotates, proprietary mixing flights tumble, fold, shear and turn the material, while simultaneously elevating the batch towards a stationary plug gate valve for discharge. This design ensures complete emptying with no segregation of materials and virtually no residual product left in the vessel.
To maximise durability, all internal wear surfaces, including lifters, baffles, and inlet and outlet chutes, are manufactured from hardened steel and secured with bolts for quick and easy replacement.
The unit's stationary inlet and outlet allow for in-line operation and continuous drum rotation during loading and unloading, helping to reduce overall cycle times.
A large side access door provides easy access to all product-contact surfaces and, combined with the absence of residual material, enables rapid and efficient cleaning.
