Danfoss Power Solutions has introduced its new PC‑PRO propel software, designed to enhance the efficiency and performance of off‑highway machinery widely used in bulk material handling environments.
The software supports equipment such as loaders, conveyors, feeders and mobile processing units that transport and manage powders, granulates and pellets across industrial sites.
Developed at Danfoss’ facility in Nordborg, Denmark, the PC‑PRO platform improves machine responsiveness, reduces fuel consumption and enables more precise control during loading, conveying and discharge operations. These improvements are particularly relevant for operators handling free‑flowing solids, where consistent flow, accurate dosing and stable machine behaviour are essential for maintaining product quality and operational safety.
The software integrates with Danfoss’ existing hydraulic and electronic control systems, allowing OEMs to configure machine behaviour for specific material‑handling tasks. This includes optimising torque delivery, traction control and speed management during the movement of bulk solids.
Danfoss says the new system will help manufacturers meet tightening sustainability requirements by reducing energy use and emissions across heavy‑duty industrial fleets.
The company expects strong uptake from European equipment builders serving the powders and granulates sector, where automation and efficiency gains remain a priority.
