Hosokawa Alpine AG has integrated Hosokawa Solids Solutions into its core business in a move designed to strengthen its position as a provider of fully integrated process engineering systems and accelerate project delivery for customers worldwide.
The Augsburg-headquartered mechanical process engineering specialist announced that the German subsidiary will be fully incorporated into the parent company from 1 October 2026 as part of an ongoing transformation programme aimed at responding to changing market demands and creating a stronger, more streamlined organisation.
The integration will bring together expertise in grinding, classification and compaction technologies with storage, conveying, weighing and dosing solutions under a single organisational structure.
The company said the move will enable it to offer customers more comprehensive turnkey systems from a single source while improving efficiency and enhancing collaboration across the group.
As part of the restructuring, Augsburg will become an even more important hub for the business, with the sales and service capabilities of Hosokawa Solids Solutions being consolidated at the site.
The company believes the closer integration of technical expertise and resources will allow projects to be executed more quickly and provide customers with a broader range of end-to-end solutions.
Michael Kuhnen, chief executive officer of Hosokawa Alpine, said the integration marked the completion of a process that had been under way for some time and would position the company more strongly for the future.
He said changing market requirements had made it necessary to further develop the group’s structures, adding that bringing expertise together more closely would strengthen its role as a provider of integrated solutions while ensuring the transformation was managed responsibly and transparently for employees.
